In an era of rapid globalization and technological advancements, the landscape of English Language Teaching (ELT) in Nigeria is evolving. Traditional methods of instruction, while foundational, must be reimagined to meet the diverse linguistic, cultural, and technological realities of today’s learners. This conference, themed "Innovative ELT Pedagogy in Nigeria," seeks to explore forward-thinking approaches that enhance language proficiency, foster critical thinking, and improve learning outcomes in classrooms across the country.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

General Guidelines

  • • Title: 10 words maximum (Capitalize the initials of content words only)
  • • Abstract: 250 words maximum
  • • Citations: APA (7th edition) or MLA (9th edition) style
  • • Main text and abstract must be in Times New Roman, font size 12
  • • Include full name, institutional affiliation, and contact details
  • • Registration required per presenter
  • • Abstract submission deadline: May 30, 2025, by 21:00 GMT
  • • Abstracts not submitted by May 30, 2025, will not be considered for the printed Book of Abstracts
  • All Virtual presentations will be a post-conference activity via zoom
  • All the PowerPoint slides for Virtual Presentations must be submitted by August 20, 2025 to eltanconfasaba@gmail.com
